Tekmar Controls

The tekmarNet® 2 Wiring Center 313 is designed to provide a zoning solution for heating systems. It can be used in applications ranging from baseboard zones, to remote manifolds for radiant heating. This product provides power for up to four tekmarNet® 2 thermostats, and up to four 24 V (ac) zones valve outputs, as well as providing an end switch closure to enable an external device such as a boiler. A line voltage output on the back of the control can operate a zone group pump if required. An outdoor sensor input is included and provides the outdoor air temperature reading on each thermostat when an optional outdoor sensor is installed.

The Boiler Reset Module 420 is designed to operate all of the mechanical equipment in a hydronic heating system, except for zones, coordinating their operation through network communication. It can be used in applications ranging from a single zone of baseboard with an on/off boiler, to multiple radiant floor zones with a modulating/condensing boiler. This control regulates one space heating water temperature through Outdoor Temperature Reset and Indoor Temperature Feedback. It is capable of controlling a single on/off or modulating boiler, Domestic Hot Water, setpoint loads, and can expand up to 24 zones in total.

The tekmarNet® 4 Gateway 482 provides RS 232 serial communication between tekmarNet® thermostats and third party home automation systems. The third party automation system is able to monitor and adjust any of the thermostat’s heating, cooling, and ventilation fan settings. Through the use of third party device drivers written for this product, tekmarNet® systems are fully integrated into home automation systems.

The Thermostat 518 accurately controls the room temperature for a hydronic heating zone using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology. Simple up and down buttons and a display with large type make this thermostat easy to read and use. The 518 automatically detects a single auxiliary sensor to measure either outdoor, floor or remote room temperature. This easy to install thermostat is a direct replacement for tekmar Thermostats 507 and 508. An optional Adaptor Plate 012 is available which allows the thermostat to be installed onto a single gang electrical box.

The tekmarNet® Thermostat 532 is a communicating thermostat designed for one stage hydronic heating systems. Simple up and down buttons and a display with large type make this thermostat easy to read and use. It has two auxiliary sensor inputs that can be assigned to measure room, floor, or outdoor temperature. An optional floor sensor protects the floor from overheating and enhance comfort. The 532 can be wired using two or four wires to connect to tekmarNet zoning controls, or can be installed as a stand-alone thermostat using three wires.

The tekmarNet® Thermostat 554 is a communicating touchscreen thermostat designed to operate one heating stage, one cooling stage, and a fan. The heating stage can be either hydronic or forced air and the cooling stage can operate an air conditioner. There are two auxiliary sensor inputs available to measure room, floor, outdoor, coil or duct temperature. The optional floor sensor allows precise heating of radiant floors by controlling the floor temperature and maintaining the desired room air temperature. The large touchscreen allows you to easily adjust 7-day programmable schedules and room temperature to optimize comfort and energy savings. The 554 can connect to tekmarNet controls using two or four wires or it can operate as a stand-alone thermostat using three wires.

The tekmarNet® Thermostat 557 is a communicating touchscreen thermostat designed to operate either: a hydronic radiant floor with a two stage heat pump (water-to-air or air-to-air) for heating & cooling and an emergency backup heating system; or two stages of heating and two stages of cooling. There are three auxiliary sensor inputs that can be used to measure room, floor, outdoor or duct temperature. The optional floor sensor allows precise heating of radiant floors. Relative humidity level can be measured and controlled using either the built-in or external humidity sensor. The large touchscreen display allows you to easily adjust 7-day programmable schedules and room temperatures to optimize comfort and energy savings. The 557 can connect to tekmarNet® controls using two or four wires or it can operate as a stand-alone device.

The Adaptor Plate 012 covers the paint ring left behind when replacing other thermostats, so that no patching or painting the wall is required. The 012 also allows a thermostat to be installed onto a single gang electrical box. The 012 package includes screws for mounting the adaptor plate and the device that attaches to it.

The Indoor Sensor 076 is designed to provide remote temperature sensing when connected to a compatible thermostat, or control. It can be used in installations that use a boiler control but want Indoor Temperature Feedback for increased efficiency and comfort. This product can be connected to a control to provide temperature sensing at any location where it is installed. An optional Adaptor Plate 007 is available which allows the indoor sensor to be installed onto a single gang electrical box.

The Universal Sensor 082 is a 10 k? temperature sensor designed to be strapped onto a pipe. It can be used with any tekmar control sensor input, but is most commonly used to monitor supply and return water temperatures. This product has a brass sleeve for fast response, a wide operating range, an indent to allow pipe strap on installation, and 8 ft (2.4 m) of 2-conductor wire.
